About Fibergraph Project

Hi guys, nice to meet you, my name is Svetlana.

There are a lot of people who perceive the world through cooking, gardering or radio engineering.

My guides are needle and thread. In any city in the world, I will definitely find a museum of arts and crafts and hang there to the detriment of the beach or shopping, I watch any film with freeze-frames, studying lace on the main character’s collar. What is good “Groundhog Day”? A patchwork bedspread under which Bill Murray wakes up every day.

Of course, I managed to try all kinds of elegant handicrafts, from weaving on bobbins to tatting. However, no matter how much I ring maple sticks, I still return to the hardanger embroidery and quilt. These topics became the leitmotif of the Fibergraph’s web site, which celebrates its 11th birthday this year.

From time to time I spend workshops on hardanger embroidery and quilting, occasionally print in paper and online magazines and act on television in programs targeted at people in love with needlework, I take a lot of pictures, collaborating with various photo agencies.
