I've got a diary-2011 with the hardanger embroidery cover. And it needs to be washed. So let's do it together.
The canvas and the threads have the care symbols, which help us to take care about ebmroidery correctly. As for my diary's cover it can be washed and ironed with usual cotton temperature.
What do you need for its? A middle value box, a sponge, a children shampoo or any other soft, a fluffy towel and an iron.
Pour water into the box then add the shampoo and churn it with the sponge.
Put the embroidery into the box and begin to wash.
Rinse your embroidery carefully. Change the water if it's necessary.
Put the embroidery into the towel. Let it stay in the gorizontal position until it will be slightly wet.
Put the embroidery on the towel with the back side up and iron it. Voilà!
